Rebates

So I was thinking about it yesterday...
The Rebate system...
You know the kind that you get when you buy something usually electronic, like a phone or something.I just recently got done filling mine out and am on my way to post office to put it in.
Can you really see how this whole system is set up to be inertly flawed? I guess I really didn't realize it until I actually had to go through the process. I mean you have to go through all this trouble on your end like cutting out the proof of purchase , and other zillions of little things you have to cut off the box to send them.

This whole system is based off of people being lazy. Even for a 50$ dollar rebate, I'm like... I gotta do all this stuff? just for a lowsy 50 bucks...
This was t-mobile's rebate system.

I also used amazon's. Which I am thinking, oh this will be good. They care about the people... its online, and its easy, thats cool.
I got so many different run arounds it was crazy, and on top of that there system was "down" *cough* yea... I'm sure it could of been going though some problems, but part of me wonders if they just have a big switch at the rebate center, and one of the managers says, " well its time to flip the switch again boys" and down goes the system.

Rebates... ugh...
